KINCO - MD Series

The Kinco MD series is a low-voltage (24–70 V DC) integrated servo platform designed for compact applications that require precise control, minimal wiring, and high operational reliability.

The system combines a brushless motor, drive, absolute encoder and, when needed, a mechanical brake into a single unit, significantly reducing installation space and simplifying machine architecture compared to traditional servo solutions with external drives.

The integrated sinusoidal vector control enables full management of position, speed, and torque, delivering high dynamic response and an overload capacity of up to 3× the rated torque, a key feature for fast cycles and applications with sudden load variations. The motor incorporates an absolute encoder, ensuring consistent accuracy even in battery-powered systems.

The MD series supports two industrial communication protocols: Profinet and EtherCAT, enabling easy integration into decentralized multi-axis architectures typical of mobile systems and light material-handling equipment. From a mechanical standpoint, the range is available in various configurations — typically 60 mm frames for 200 W to 400 W models and 80 mm frames up to 750 W — with a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, continuous torque up to 2.4 Nm, and optional brake.

The compact construction and reduced wiring (integrated drive, integrated encoder, power and I/O via a single connector) simplify installation on compact robots, conveyors, pick-and-place units, and light stacker cranes.
