Technical specifications

The SD700 system represents Veichi’s flagship platform for high-power servo control. The drive integrates position, speed, and torque control in a single unit, featuring full closed-loop operation based on 23-bit multi-turn absolute encoders (up to 8,388,608 ppr), resolvers, or sine/cosine encoders, and supports an external secondary feedback to compensate mechanical backlash and improve positioning accuracy.

The vibration suppression and auto-notch filter functions minimize structural resonances up to 100 Hz, while the robust control algorithm maintains system stability even with inertia variations up to 30 times during machine operation. The series supports all major industrial communication buses — EtherCAT, Profinet, and Mechatrolink-II/III — enabling multi-axis synchronization with update cycles as short as 125 µs.

The integrated PC software allows diagnostics, auto-tuning, and multi-drive parameter configuration without additional installation. The VM7 motors are permanent magnet synchronous servomotors, available up to 110 kW and 320 mm flange size. All models feature IP67 protection, optional holding brake, and integrated ventilation for continuous-duty high-torque applications. The SD700 + VM7 platform delivers a high-performance servo solution for applications requiring elevated power and dynamic precision.

The system ensures stable control even under rapid dynamic cycles, with energy efficiency above 95% and overload capability up to 300% of rated current.
